    Cassie’s Cardinals Intern Application Fall 2013

    UQ Marketing is currently accepting applications for an internship with Cassie’s Cardinals. Cassie’s Cardinals is based out of Columbus, Ohio and helps families and individuals find the best in-home care provider quickly, easily and safely. 

    This internship position requires between about 6 hours per week at the headquarter location in the Short North from November 20 through April 21.

    Ideal Candidates:

    • Tech-savvy and up to date on the latest social media and web technologies
    • Active on a variety of social media networks
    • Organized with some experience in event planning (i listed this because event planning is listed below in responsibilities)
    • Reliable, trustworthy, and responsible

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Social media weekly updates
    • Updating & managing website
    • Generating awareness online

    Cassie’s Cardinals Overview:

    Cassie’s Cardinals was born in 2012 to help families and individuals find the best in-home care provider quickly, easily and safely. The idea for Cassie’s Cardinals was born when Cassie was a college student and took a job as a nanny in Columbus, Ohio. Cassie soon realized she was much more than a babysitter and more of a role model to these children. She also recognized the need for unique and specialized services that left parents with the understanding that their children were in safe and competent hands. Cassie finds her talent through college students and college graduates. Cassie searches for out-going, hands-on cardinals with tons of energy to ensure your kids not only have a safe sitter but also have a great time! Each cardinal goes through an intense interview process, background check and is CPR certified. All cardinals have a valid driver’s license and can offer tutoring in history, math, reading, language arts and science.

     

    Columbus Blue Jackets Application Fall 2013

    UQ Marketing is currently accepting applications for campus representatives at Ohio State to work with our client, the Columbus Blue Jackets!

    This is a paid position that requires between 5 to 10 hours on campus per week for the next four months (October 2013 through January 2014). All campus reps will be paid $10/hour.

    Ideal Candidates:

    • Avid Blue Jackets fans, hockey fans in general
    • Marketing or Communication Students preferred but not required
    • Well-connected on campus
    • Active and influential on a variety of social media networks

    Blue Jackets Campus Reps will be responsible for building brand awareness, generating interest in the Blue Jackets student discount ticket program (RUSH) and increasing student attendance at games through on-campus events, social media promotions and word-of-mouth campaigns.

    Main job responsibilities include:

    • Event Planning & Implementation
    • Literature Distribution
    • Relationship-building with Key Administrators, Appropriate Campus Organizations and their Leadership
    • Generating Awareness Online
    • Drive Blue Jackets game attendance

    Columbus Blue Jackets Overview:

    Founded in 2000, the Columbus Blue Jackets call Nationwide Arena home and play in the Metropolitan Division of the National Hockey League’s Eastern Conference. Other teams in the Metropolitan division include the Carolina Hurricanes, New Jersey Devils, New York Islanders, New York Rangers, Philadelphia Flyers, Pittsburgh Penguins, and Washington Capitals.


     

    AT&T Application Fall 2013

    UQ Marketing is currently accepting applications for interns at your university to work with our client AT&T!

    This is a paid position that requires at least six hours on campus per week for the Fall Semester (through December). All interns will receive a brand new smartphone and paid $10/hour.

    Ideal Candidates:

    • Enthusiastic about sharing AT&T with their peers

    Virtual Internship Program Fall 2013

    ABOUT THE UQ MARKETING VI PROGRAM

    UQ Marketing is a word of mouth marketing agency based in Columbus, Ohio. We help clients build their brands on college campuses through peer-to-peer and grassroots campaigns.

    The Virtual Internship (VI) Program gives college students the opportunity to gain marketing experience while working on real agency projects, all from the comfort of your own campus.

    Virtual Interns will gain experience from short-term, hands-on projects focused on learning critical tips in social media, market research, and campus consulting.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Build a social media plan and execute on a weekly basis through Twitter
    • Craft a consulting report, educating UQ and fellow Virtual Interns about your university
    • Write a blog on a topic of your choice specific to your university to be featured on UQ’s Insights Blog
    • Participate in weekly #universitychat Twitter chats, networking with fellow Virtual Interns and boosting your presence online
    • Design a marketing plan specific to your university for your favorite brand

    Virtual Interns typically work 3-5 hours per week for one semester (or two quarters), and are able to manage their own schedule.

    This internship is unpaid, but you are encouraged to submit hours for class credit if your university supports work/study programs.

    EVENT PHOTOGRAPHER

    UQ Marketing is currently accepting applications for a student photographer for an event in Boston! This is a paid opportunity where you’ll have the chance to capture a top fashion brand and have your work showcased online while building your portfolio.
